At 16 weeks check up and doctor can't find baby's heartbeat. Waiting for ultrasound to make sure he is ok. Please say a quick pray for my baby

**Thanks for everything ladies, cant express how much your thoughts and prayers helped me relax. Anyway, on to the good news. Baby looked great!! Strong heartbeat of 156, and he is still a BOY!!! For some reason the Doppler was only picking up my heartbeat which concerned the doctor. During the ultrasound it appears the baby is snuggling with my placenta which may be the cause of not being able to distinguish placenta heartbeat from baby heartbeat. Also found out that baby's face is pointing towards my butt which is why I have not been able to feel him move on the outside yet.

Again I just want to say thank you to everyone!! I had my girls at the appointment with me so it was hard to put on a brave face with them when all I really wanted to do was break down/***

That happened to me. Turns out my thumping, nervous heart was overruling. Baby was just fine.
