4 wheelers

Has anyone asked their doctor about being on a 4 wheeler? we just bought a brand new one and I would like to go for a ride, I will call mine in the morning but just curious as to other doctor opinions :-)

Re: 4 wheelers

  • Ehh, I've done it. As long as you are going low speed, no bumps or jumps, on a safe trail with protective gear, I don't see what the big deal is.

  • I ride mine all the time... However I haven't been on a crazy trail over lots of bushes, bumps, or puddles since the beginning of my 2nd trimester... Just be careful!

  • I rode one in my first trimester to check on a calf with my grandma. By no means was I going fast. I didn't ask my doc her opinion. I wouldn't go hitting a trail, but I think a quick low speed test drive would be ok.
  • Sweet baby Oprah...

    The answer is no, OP.

  • Uh no

  • I rode on a jetski during the summer, but it was a calm ride and I didn't go very fast. Grew up on them so I'm pretty experienced when it comes to riding. This far along though??? I'd have to say no to a 4 wheeler, totally not worth it!!

  • I use ours in the yard multiple times a week. If you're not trying to be a stunt man, I don't see how this could be an issue.

  • I would say no.  Check with your doctor and see what they say first.  They would know.

  • @cousinvicki I do not live in the backwoods and every one has them here.  Kids use them on a trail that runs along side the main road to get to their friend's houses.

OP, there is a big difference between this:

    And this:

    Can you clarify?
