ladies!
first my name is Erica. Me and my SO found out aweeks ago I was pregnant. :-)
Friday was my first ultrasound and they said based on the fetal measurement am 5w6d. I was somewhat shocked I am that early. Based on my last period I am 7w+ a few days.
My last period was July 24. I took a home pregnancy test Aug 23rd which would have put me late based on a28 day cycle or testing 1 day early early if 31. My period has been extremely irregular. I was 10 days late in July. Anywho, that test on Aug 23 was negative so I just assumed I'd be late like the month prior. The following Friday, Aug 30, I took another test as my period had yet to come which showed a very dark, immediate positive.
how do they calculate conception based on ultrasound? Would I count back 6w and assume that's around when I conceived or do I subtract two weeks?
I'm thinking I may have ovulated later then I think? Hubby and I were not very sexually active this month so were quite surprised, but very happy!
I know for a fact we had intercourse the July 31st (would that be to out of range?)
Aug 7,8 and once during the week of the 12th.
I had intrahapetic choleostasis of pregnancy (ICP, apologize if spelt wrong) my previous pregnancy with my son and had a miscarriage a few months ago.
I am most concerned that if the July 31 date was the sex that produced the pregnancy that the baby is not be growing normally. Do you ladies think that this date has a high/low percentage being the baby making date?
