hi all, just wanting to ask for some of your experiences with starting TTC. I am a couple weeks shy of turning 39. DS is now 9 months old, and it took me about two years to conceive naturally (we were very close to IVF when i got an unexpected BFP). I'd like to have a second, and feel like i need to get cracking on this now, considering how long it took me to get pg the first time. the problem is that i haven't gotten my period back yet. i'm not quite ready to wean off breastfeeding yet, but also can't think of any reason AF hasn't started again, as i've not been on birth control. do any of you have any ideas on getting my cycles back on track other than weaning from breastfeeding? thanks for your help!

    weaning. sorry, not what you wanted to hear! I had an IUD so even though I BF for 16 months, I never saw a period when I weaned, so I can't say when yours will return.

     

    for most of my friends, they got a period when they went down to 1-2 feedings a day.

    b/w=FSH 15.6, AMH 0.4 surprise natural BFP on 3/12/11
    DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d

    I had to totally night wean to get my cycles back, and I didn't get my first PP AF until 14 months.
