  Anything is going to get hot with snuggling with a baby, but a ring sling is the least hot to me.

  I live in a very hot & humid country and have both an ergo and a ring sling. Currently I have to use the infant insert with my ergo, which makes it super warm for my LO, however it's bearable for short periods, particularly on cooler days and when indoors. Otherwise he's very hot & sweaty when I take him out. I'm looking forward to using this carrier more when I can get rid of the insert though. The ring sling is far cooler for both LO and myself, and i use it to get him out of his stroller when just 'hanging out' somewhere or at home. The ego suits us better overall as I use it on public transport and running errands as we don't have a car.

  I'm also a fl mom, I have the ergo performance. It has mesh inserts and is very breathable. I've had it for about two weeks now and love it and so does my ds

  Linen ring sling, ergo performance, onyababy outback, Bloo Kangaroo Kanga Sport, infant Kinderpack with mesh, NuzzleMe Stay Cool Carrier. Anything with an infant insert will cook you... When your child is old enough, use a rolled up towel like a booster instead.
  
  Start with a ring sling until your child has great head control. It will be the coolest option.
