Silly baby!

I feel like with all the crazy things happening in the world today (floods here in CO, shootings in DC), I sure could use a dose of laughter. What funny/silly things has your LO done recently that put a smile on your face and/or made you burst out laughing?

For me it was last night. S for the first time that I know of decided to try rolling over back to front instead of sleeping like she was supposed to. We were watching her on the video monitor since she was upstairs in her crib and we were downstairs in the living room. She'd start by lifting her legs up in the air, plop them down sideways then start shoving the rest of her body to the side. She kept getting stuck because her one arm would get in the way and she doesn't seem to realize she has to turn her head as well. The funny part, though, was as she was making these attempts, she kept farting! She'd lift her legs, a fart would come out. She rolled onto her side, yet another fart. We couldn't stop laughing mostly because it seemed like she was making the attempts to roll over just because she was enjoying the sound of her farts.

@crazycoffeegirl - that is absolutely adorable!!

DD giggles hysterically when our black lab runs full speed ahead in the upstairs hallway after her carrot toy. She laughs so hard that she farts or poops.

C farted in the bath and made bubbles and then did her silent laugh at her fart bubbles.

My Lo made a discovery during bath time last night.. He discovered his penis...he kept grabbing it and playing with it. OMG! We could not stop laughing! I ve heard boys do this but it seems really early and just found it funny. Im sure its only just begun. hahaha

Over the weekend, M started doing what I now call her baby goat noise. She rounds her mouth and forcefully grunt/coos and it sounds like a goat. It's freaking adorable!

Maddy has gotten really into laughing over the past week and she started adding an amazingly high pitched squeal last night. When I cracked up, she looked right at me, and proceeded to squeal hysterically for ten minutes. She now has started laughing to get my attention, too... And I have to admit, it is a lot more fun than crying to get it!

My LO has recently discovered his sister is a source of entertainment. She is always playing or doing something and he laughs at her. And she is always kissing him and cooing at him. I hope they get along well in the future.

When I put E on the changing table she gets really excited especially in the morning when I take her out of her sleeper to change her into daytime clothes. Once she is naked she starts wiggling back and forth like she is dancing, I love it! She smiles so big!

She has also started laughing and lets be honest, nothing is cuter than a laughing baby!

The other night, when it was time for bed, LO started kicking and flailing her arms like she was either swimming or trying to fly away. This went on for the longest time. We were laughing so hard. Clearly, she did not want to go to sleep just yet.

I'm loving this age - while DS is in his exersaucer he will scream at me, DH, or the dog until we look at him, then laughs hysterically. It's so fun watching him get excited about the world around him. He was pumped about the trees blowing in the wind this weekend, too.

J was just laying o the floor exploring his toes while my hubs and I had dinner. We were watching him closely because he was trying to roll over and suddenly he looked at his toes and slowly started bringing them closer and closer to his face. Then he put them in his mouth. It was like he was thinking "I wonder what these things taste like... maybe I'll try them..."

S has been eating her toes for a couple days now. She was doing that at the pedi's today and he started laughing about it too!

My LO seems to have inherited my dry sense of humor. I've gotten her to laugh once and I try everyday! She smiles all day long but to get a real laugh I'm gonna have to really work it!

Makes me laugh when I pick her up for a feed and she throws her head towards me at such speed, mouth gaping wide and eyes all wild looking...I swear it's like she's gonna devour me whole.
