Twin paranoia?

Do you ladies think it's normal to worry that something will happen to one of your babies during/after delivery? I'm 36w2d now, and I have had a fairly uneventful pregnancy, so not much reason to worry about my girls. However, over the past few weeks, I keep feeling like something will go wrong and we will only bring home one baby.
Do any of you MoMs recall having that worry towards the end of your pregnancy?

    I recall worrying about pretty much everything under the sun at some point. :-/ I don't know if it had to do w/ being a FTM, or carrying twins, having some complications (though everything turned out fine).....whatever the reason, I think it's normal. Try to stay optimistic, though, and not let the fears rob you of your joy and excitement today. Take the best care of yourself possible and let go of what's beyond your control. Big hugs and good luck as you approach the birth of your LOs! :)

    Oh I do this all the time. Mainly because I have a hard time feeling baby b move so I get crazy thoughts in my mind and start freaking out I will only have one baby to bring home. Even though on my weekly/biweekly ultrasounds he is always ok and perfect. Its totally normal :)

    I was the same way before they were born. I think it was just anxiety over double the chances of something going wrong. All turned out well in the end. Just trust your doctors and have faith. For me, what helped was reading birth stories and seeing the successful twin moms.

    I worried mostly during ALL the pregnancy.  At the end with pre-e and on bedrest, I worried about placental abruption and them &/or me dying.  The only reason this was an issue for me is because that is what happened to my older sister- She lost her little girl and just barely survived herself.  I hated bedrest and being at home alone when DH was at work.

    I worried constantly, too. You and your beautiful girls will be perfect. Good luck! Not much longer!

    I worried throughout, but like pp, I saw so much tragedy it was hard not to think of the what-ifs and possibilities, even though I knew the odds were good that far along.

    I totally felt this way and for no logical reason at all. Having a heart beat monitor helped me a lot later in the pregnancy or else I'd have been at triage 4 times a week just to make sure everything was ok! It was all totally irrational and everything turned out fine : )
