Any ideas for how to keep hands warm during overnights? I use sleep sacks so his hands are the only body part not covered up and his hands are like little ice cubes when he wakes up- any suggestions? He's 5 months.
My LO has the same problem (4.5 months). With the cold weather approaching I expect it to get worse. I have some of those mittens, but they are from the newborn phase and won't fit anymore. I am also looking for suggestions.
My DS (6 months) had the same problem in his Merlin sleepsuit. I started putting him to bed with a blankie and he grabs it, holds it, and rubs it against his face. So I guess it covers his hands enough that they aren't exposed. We haven't had frozen fingers in 3 weeks.
My dd has the same problem. She has started rolling over and prefers to sleep on her tummy, so when she rolls over she sleeps on her hands keeping them nice and warm!

As long as the belly is warm, I wouldn't worry about it
We have this problem too - the rest of her body is nice and warm all night so I don't worry too much about it, but I have started putting a muslin blanket in with her. I'm ok with it since it's very breathable, and it seems to make her hands a little less frozen in the morning. I tried mittens but she didn't keep them on, and sometimes she sucks a thumb in her sleep so I didn't want to take that away.
I use a sack that covers the whole body, including her hands. It's called the zipadeezip. You can find it at zipadeezip.com. They are also on facebook.
Huh, glad to know my LO isn't the only one with this problem! She starts out toasty warm but by morning has ice cubes for hands. Like some of you already mentioned, I expect she'll have even colder hands once winter arrives. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have to find a solution before too long!
