Tummy Sleeping

So I never put Jackson on his belly at a young age. I was scared, well now Jackson wakes up everytime he's on his belly. He rolls over and automatically goes to crawl position even if he's out cold which causes him to wake up. Has anyone had this issue? Is there anything that worked for you? I still rock Jackson to sleep and it takes all of 5 minutes for him to be asleep vs hours of crying. He can out cry anyone's will power. Do I just have to wait it out? He's getting much better on sleeping so I'm not complaining but I wish he could figure tummy sleeping out.

    I have no advise because DS actually began sleeping well for use once he was able to roll onto his belly.  He has been sleeping on his belly for the past 4 months.  Before that he would wake up every 40-45 minutes.  We just put him down on his belly now.  If I was to put him on his back, he would roll right over to his  belly. 

    Have you tried patting his back when he wakes up?  DS usually falls back to sleep if we just pat his back for a short time.

    I will try patting the back. I'm willing to do anything right now. He will even try and cuddle on my chest but get so frustrated on his belly. I know he wants to just hasn't figured it out.

    He sleeps on his side and will go to tummy and 99% of the time it wakes him. I now feel I should have introduced sooner. Good thing he falls right back to sleep once I hold him. I'm going to try rubbing the back and hope that helps. If not one day...

    I'm going with this... He laid on his belly last night and I rubbed his back, he tossed and turned for 5 min then went to his back and night night. He woke up once at 230 which is a first then up at 715. I'll take it
