I have a matching set of dishes

I go school supplies shopping with my kid(s)

I get rid of our hand-me-down recliner and upgrade to a new one

Both of our cars are completely paid off

    I felt like a grown up when we bought our house, and again now that we have sold it.

    I will feel like a grownup when we get proper bedroom furniture. We have a simple metal bedframe and the springs in our mattress are mostly broken. The 1 dresser we have is the same one I had when I was 5 (and if you lean against it it just might fall apart) and I use a Canadian Tire wardrobe that DH gracriously broke so the door doesn't close unless it's being held with something.

    I will feel like a grown up when we can afford to buy a house.
