Watching tv/movies on iPad

So I'm praying there's wifi tomorrow at the surgical center but I'm trying to prepare if there isn't. Is there any app that allows me to watch kids shows without wifi? I have Netflix and the Disney junior app but they only work with Internet connection. Anything else to entertain a 2 year old? I have lots of apps but she may not want to play.

    Can you just download a movie on iTunes? I think that's what we are doing for a drive to the beach tomorrow. Hope her surgery goes well!

    At our children's hospital the wifi is spotty and I've never successfully gotten it. It always fades in and out if I even pick up the connection in the first place. I didn't realize iTunes had tv shows so I had a field day with that. :)
