If this isn't fake, I am also sorry for your loss. However, the stats are .5-.8%. And a RCS doesn't guarantee a safe birth. I know someone who lost her own life and the baby during a "routine" RCS. They both would have survived had she VBACed. You do the best you can with the information we have. ACOG recommends VBAC over RCS based on hard statistics.
You have to let go of the guilt surrounding the birth. You can't know the future ahead of time. I hope you find a support group to grieve (the bump has a loss board) however, telling other people not to pursue safe births will not preserve the memory of your baby in a positive light. I hope you find the support you need during this time.
