Which would you buy?

First, thanks to all who commented on the Kindle Fire thread.

So here's the question. Do I use my Amazon birthday gift cards to get a fun present, like the Kindle Fire, or use them to get something practical, like a steam mop? I would have to pay the difference for the Fire; the steam mop would be covered.

I use my Fire more than my steam mop.

My Libman Freedom mop with a vinegar/water mixture works just as well as my steam mop and is only $25.

Verdict: Get the Fire.

I really wanted a steam mop for a while.

It would mostly be for the kitchen, bathroom, and carpets upstairs (it has a carpet glider). We have old hardwood floors in living room and dining room and can't use anything harsh on them.

It's not electric. It has removable pads that you can wash. You fill the squirt bottle with your own cleaning solution. It's $25 on amazon, but I've seen deals on it at regular stores too.
