Today is neonatal nurse day

I just wanted to share in case you didn't know.

We are on our way to deliver snacks and a thank you card again. I'm mentally preparing myself on the ride there (dh is driving as I type this of course).

I hope some of our favorite nurses are there!

    I so wish we lived close to the hospital so we could do something like that but unfortunately we're 4 hours away.

    I hope you get to see your favorite nurses! Is this the first time you've been back to the NICU? I hope it's not too emotionally hard on you!

    Our favorite nurses are never there. This is our third time back (nicu nurse day last year and this year and E's birthday) but for some reason it was the most emotional. I started crying when I looked through the doors info the nicu. I saw the pumping room and could remember it clear as day. I spent more time in there than in bed some days. It's so weird looking back.
