First night in the NICU

So tonight is my first night staying with my baby girl in the NICU. She's doing great and tonight the nurses help me put her up to my boob to get her ready to start breastfeeding! She's not quit old enough to "get" breastfeeding. She's 31weeks 1 day gestational and only 5 days old. But when they put her up to me she opened her mouth wide and started licking and sucking! Hoping this leads to breastfeeding soon and we can take our baby home in 4-5 weeks. Hope everyone is doing well, the NICU sure can be a rough place.
