DS had his 4 month visit last week, but I forgot to ask his pedi about water. Specifically, should we be offering water when we start solids? And if so do you do this in a bottle or start to introduce a sippy cup? And how much water do you give them at each meal? I'll probably have to call the pedi to see what she says but I thought one of y'all might have either asked your pedi or already have experience with this.
They don't need it. I plan on offering some at meal times, but only for the learning experience (learning how to drink from a sippy instead of a bottle).
Is there a reason you would use water instead if bm or formula?
