Bad Mommy moment tonight.

DD finally started walking this week. YAY! well DH DD and I were out in the yard walking and decided to go up and down the alley. I told DH to make sure he always held both of her hands on the cement because she is still unstable. Fast forward DD picks up a rock and wants to walk into the yard which is only about 1 foot away. I put her down and let her start walking....AND she trips on DH foot and face plants it onto the cement!! UGG pick her up quick glance the only blood I see is in her mouth. Luckily tooth stopped bleeding fast and only some other minor scraps on her knuckles and wrist and a little bump on her forehead...Phew I feel so bad especially since I did what I told DH not to!

Aww, I know the feeling! And I'm sure you know it will be the first of many! Good thing kids aren't very breakable.

I can't tell you how many times I've butt bumped, tripped, etc, the kids in my family. Even trying to put them down nicely they fall somehow. Scrapes happen.
