We are supposed to go to Brian's brother's house to break the fast and I have NO intentions of reminding him. We should actually be there now. Instead we are shopping :D

    hahaha another funny regional thing.  She is Jewish and celebrating yom kuppour.  At the end of the day you break the fast and eat a delicious meal.  I am not jewish, but grew up in an area where there are many a jewish folk so we have off for all jewish holidays.  While I was going to school on LI and now teaching in the city.

    I'm not Jewish, and h only identifies as Jewish for his family. I left the RSVP'ing up to H, and he was too preoccupied to reply to the email, so they were not nesicarily expecting us. After 2 solo days with Cooper and a very long day ay work, being around my MIL was the last thing on my to do list.
