Anyone else here have endometriosis? Wondering what types of scenarios you all had and what I can expect... Not looking for a bunch of unhappy thoughts. Just fellow ladies with endometriosis
I have Endometriosis. I did not try to conceive before my excision surgery with Dr. Martin Robbins in Maine. However, I am pregnant with my first child, and I do believe the excision (not ablation) surgery was a big part of being able to get pregnant.
I do not know what treatments you have tried or how long you have been TTC, so I can only hope that you find or are working towards a treatment to help you conceive. I have heard many success stories from different methods, but I think the one with the greatest success rate for conceiving as well as feeling better all around has to be the excision surgery with a specialist.
Good Luck! Please feel free to PM me for more information on specialists, if you would like.
(I apologize, I haven't really lurked around this board, so I truly hope this was a helpful, respectful and appropriate response.)
Congratualtions! How exciting!! I was diagnosed with Endo in 2004, and have had 2 surgerys - one was cyst removal and the other was Hysteroscopy and
D&C. So very simple surgerys and not super invasive. I have only been TTC for 3 weeks. So we've just started. Was just trying to feel out what ladies are out there in the same boat as me. I will definitely check out the other boards and re-post there. thank you!

I had my first surgery for endo at 18. I ended up getting pregnant on my honeymoon, I stopped fearing that we wouldn't have kids. and I was relaxed and happy. Doctors are wrong and dont ever think it wont happen. Believe in yourself It WILL happen for you!
I was diagnosed with Endo in 2011 and had surgery to remove a cyst and excision of lesions. I was also told I would have a difficult time TTC, but when we started trying it only took us 3 months. It will happen and don't lose hope!
