LO is EFF, and has only had luck with Enfamil. Similac and Gerber both made him super gassy. Regular Enfamil has been fine. We tried the Target generic, and for whatever reason, he had similar results to the Similac and Gerber, even though it's supposed to be the equivalent (but the texture and the smell were very different - I actually thought the Target brand smelled fishy.)
Has anyone had luck with a generic (other than Target) of Enfamil? We were thinking of trying the Costco brand, but I've read it's very similar to Similac... so I don't want to take the risk, even though I'm pretty sure they'll take back an open container if it doesn't work out. I just hate the thought of making LO uncomfortable, in my attempt to save a few bucks, y'know?
I know most daycares around here all use the Walmart brand for formula. Thats what ours uses too so well prob be using that once we start formula..prob in the next month or so. Keep us posted as to how it works for you!
No Wegmans... And we have a Costco membership, but not a Sam's club membership... I wish the Target brand had worked out; I fear we're going to run into the same issue with other generics, but maybe it'll just be trial and error.
Glad to hear someone else's little dude is drinking such big bottles! We go through a can of Costco brand every 6 days. FWIW, my LO didn't tolerate Similac either and he's been fine on Kirkland for a couple of months now.
