Things are going good. I quit pumping at work, but I plan on still nursing her in the evenings. I am debating on whether I should continue nursing her in the mornings before I go to work. I like it because I get some morning time with her, but it would be nice to not have to spend the time nursing when I need to do other things. Currently I nurse her right before I go to work around 7, when I get home around 4:30, and then it seems to be every Hal f hour to hour until she goes to bed. She also take about 4 oz of pumped sometime while I'm at work. The rest of the time she eats solids.
Still going great. I nurse her for 2 naps and to bed, other then that probably 2-3 other feedings a day now. No more night feedings so that is great. I would like to continue nursing for morning wakeup and bedtime feedings after a year and switch to WCM when she is one during the day.
How is BF going? better, recently. He actually seems a bit more interested
Will you stop at 12 mos? Keep going? Def will stop pumping at work
How often does LO nurse? probably 5 times in a 24 hour period. Usually before periods of sleep- naps, bedtime, etc. otherwise he's too busy. He's been refusing bottles at daycare but I think it's just a phase. He still night nurses several times and I am OK with this as I want him to get as much breastmilk as possible.
We're doing well. We're at 4-5 times a day nursing. I would like to start weaning at 12 mos, but he's pretty hard to put down if he's not nursed to sleep, so I'm not quite sure what will happen. We might go more towards 18 mos, but I really don't want to go any longer than that. We started a little whole milk in a sippy cup since he turns 1 in 2 weeks and he loves it, so maybe weaning will be easy. We'll just play it by ear.
Going well. Feed her when she wakes up, at around noon, around 4, or after her nap, then I nurse her to sleep at night. If she wakes up in the night we try to settle her first, otherwise I nurse. She STTN most of the time.
No plans to stop. We could definitely cut out one of the day time feeds, but she doesn't really snack, so I see those feeds as snacks.
I want to stop when she can ask for it by name!
Going well. She nurses 4-6x each day now. We'll keep going. I'd like to bf to 18 months to get her through the flu season. We'll see what jappens. She loves bf and I can't imagine her stopping by choice any time soon.
She is nursing 6 times in 24 hours. She is still nursing once MOTN. I plan on continuing past 12 months but don't' have a firm idea of how long. I am sort of taking the wait and see approach. We'll continue as long as its working for the two of us. I will start to think about giving up the daytime pumping though after she turns 1.
For some reason she is biting down with her top teeth on the right but not on the left. It leaves marks. Its not an actual bite though so it doesn't draw blood or hurt really - just steady pressure. I thought it would just stop but it seems to be a new thing. Not sure what that is about.
Still going here. DS just turned 10 months and I actually weaned him down from 6x to 5x a day. I SAH and he EBF, and I just thought 6x is a one too many. It's been 1 weeks since we went down to 5x a day, and he didn't seem to mind or notice. I nurse on schedule rather than on demand; I hope that means weaning will be easier.
I plan to cut down to 4x/day when he turns 11 months, and at 12 months will go down to 3x/day. May wean a bit faster when he reaches 12 months.

Still going here. Recently LO has picked up his nursing sessions, and yesterday and today he had diarrhea so all he wanted recently has been BM! He is starting to pick up solids again slowly so hopefully that will decrease the nursing sessions.
Otherwise I do plan on not pumping after 12months, but continue nursing maybe in the AM and bedtime and any MOTN feedings.
I'm going to chime in. I EP 4 times a day. It's going good - but I am so over it. Some days I only pump 3 times and see that I don't make those ounces, so back to 4 I go.
I hope to stop pumping asap. He has some issues with me drinking milk - so we need to challenge that before I stop.
I would also like to be pregnant - so pumping really challenges that.
Still going here. He nurses 3-4 times a day and takes 2-3 sippy cups of pumped milk a day at DC. I'm still pumping 3x a day to make those sippy cups.
At a year I plan to try out either WCM or almond milk. If it goes well we'll slowly start replacing some of his BM with that at DC. If that goes well, I'll stop pumping at work and use up my frozen stash by mixing with WCM or almond milk.
I plan to keep BF'ing mornings, right after work and at bed time till at least 15 months. After than we'll just play it by ear. I really want to get KU again around 18 months, so if PP AF doesn't return when I wean from the pump, I may try to wean one or more of those nursing sessions. If it does return, I'm ok with continuing to nurse until he decides he's done.
I dropped pumping at work 2 weeks ago and nursed her 3x a day (morning, after work, before bed). This week I dropped the after work nurse. Next week we will be down to one time a day, and the week after she is being cut off. Mainly because I have international travel away from her in October and November, and the November trip I need to be on anti malaria pills incompatible with BF.
I am really proud of myself for making it this far but also really excited to start the next chapter in our lives!
A couple of weeks ago I stopped pumping at work and just pump when I get home. He nurses about 4-6 times a day. Sometimes its just for comfort though. Our pedi (me too) is ok with starting the weaning process at 11 months. I tried 1 oz of WCM in a sippy. DS took a taste, smiled, and then handed the sippy back to me. I'll keep trying. I'm ok with weaning soon. DS is a really "aggressive" nurser...I have scratches all on my chest. He also pinches the sides of my boobs while he eats or he shoves a foot in my armpit and pushes. He eats well but it's like wrestling an effin marlin.

I gave up pumping at work just this week and have no freezer stash, so she has been taking formula during the day. But we are still nursing morning and night. Going to try to nurse her full time this weekend, but guessing I won't have the supply during the day.
@KraneRN, DS is like yours too. His hands are either scratching my chest, or clawing my face and neck. Sometimes he likes to dig his fingers into my ribs. Tonight I suddenly realizes that he twerks too! He constantly pushes up and down with his feet against the couch. It's awful cuz he literally is pulling my nips up and down with his motion.

Yeah, DS is a grabber and puller. I love him but I feel like I am constantly being clawed at. At least he isn't too much of a biter. I think I will be a tiny bit sad when we are done but I'm sick of being beat up. We had a good run.
