Tears, tears and snort

Ok so I feel like the only pregnant gal having a hard time controlling g tears, I cry if I'm happy, sad, mad... Last night I'm in a room full of women for birthing class and I sniffle at the thought of birth, then I cry when the videos show the baby being born... Gotta get these spontaneous tears to settle down.

Re: Tears, tears and snort

  • I cried throughout all my baby classes :)

  • I cried watching the finale of Burn Notice last night.  I don't even really care for the show but I found myself tearing up and crying.  When I took birthing classes for DS, I had a major laughing fit as the teacher was going through breathing techniques.  I had to leave the room because I couldn't stop laughing (and no idea at what) and I was disrupting class.

  • I cried a little last night when DH told me he ate the rest of the taco dip I had eaten for lunch earlier. I'm also in a major funk with him in general (long story but relates to just not feeling sexy anymore and he's just not as understanding with pregnancy things sometimes). Do yes...tears galore these days! It's a stressful, emotional time! We are all SO CLOSE!!

  • You are so not alone. I cried just last night because I was laying on the couch and couldn't get up without help from my DH(who laughed when I told him I was stuck). I looked like a turtle on it's back.

DH also laughed at my ugly cry. I may or may not have "accidentally" stepped on his toes when I was able to get up....

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has HP marathons when feeling well (sick, bad day, etc.).

I love the HP series. You can rent the digital audiobooks at my local library so I listen to them at work or on long plane rides :)

Sympathies!  My husband and I kept cracking up during the "maintain eye contact" part of our breathing exercises, too.  We'd start out serious, then one of us would wiggle an eyebrow or something, and we'd lose it.  (We both decided that particular technique was Not For Us - too distracting!)

  • Literally cried about 10 minutes ago when DH got home with my dinner and it was not what I ordered and it is too late to go back and get it fixed (place is closed already) Boo

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one! I cried at our hospital tour with 8 other couples in it when she talked about DH cutting the cord.

Then the other night at dinner, I ugly cried because I wanted to eat pancakes so bad...but can't because of my GD! DH was at a complete loss as to what to do! Lol!!!
  • Thank you ladies! I felt pretty silly because no one else appeared teary-eyed in the class. I started tearing up yesterday in my review because we were talking about me not wanting a review because of the hormones. I had to tell the boss that he had frustrated the heck out of me because he essentially put me in limbo because I was pregnant! I am pregnant not disabled!
  • Cried at our football homecoming parade yesterday because I got to see my former students growing up and accomplishing stuff...good thing my sunglasses were on.

I cry even more when I read the books.

  • I cry often as well these days! Because my dogs so cute or just about any movie. Birthing class was difficult to stay dry eyed!
  • See, I'm just becoming more bitchy. Wish I would just cry instead, I'd have less apologizing to do.

this. I'm definitely becoming more bitchy and impatient too...but I did have a crying episode last week watching Holmes on Holmes. He was helping a widower (old man) renovate and it was just so nice, I felt for the man.
