red(pink) tinted breast milk

I was just pumping at work and on one side I noticed the milk had a little pink hue to it. I thought maybe from blood.. I looked at my nipple and there is no blood or anything that seems wrong.  No pain or anything. Has anyone had this happen before? Is the milk ok still?  Please let me know. Ive never had this happen.   I only pump.

    Maybe there was a little blood in the beginning that got washed away? That did happen to me once I was pissed once I noticed..I tossed it.

    I don't think you need to toss it even if it does have blood, if baby were drinking directly from the breast, they would be ingesting the blood that way.
