Cervix check

Tmi sorry

So I got my cervix checked yesterday I'm 38w+
Got super bad Braxton hicks the same day,
The doc said normal to cramp . But I noticed this afternoon I was bleeding not a bunch (looked brown not red ) I have my doc app Tom but I'm freaking out if this is normal or if its the bloody show or what any other moms experienced this??

    It's normal to spot after cervical checks. It's a different story if you're full on bleeding.

    I'm having the same thing. I was told to expect spotting, but 30+ hours later I still have pinkish or brownish discharge nearly every time I wipe as well as between bathroom uses.

    It's bugging me my doctor just said the cramps are normal . Nothing bout bleeding a little for a loooong time I'm still bleeding :( I find out in the morning . Ill post what he says Tom . Thanks ladies

    You don't need to post what your doctor says.  We are all telling you the same thing.  I don't understand why you are looking for us to give you advise on if something is normal or not, we all tell you it is perfectly normal, and you STILL don't believe us.  Why waste our time?

    What other girl? Tell me...do you see her now? :-? Seriously OP, we pretty much all know the routine and that it's all normal...either we were told by doc, friends, family members (awkward), or have seen TONS of posts just like this one on here. It looks as if we've politely answered your question (which this "girl" could also clearly see) so just leave it at that...

    The same exact thing happened to me and everyone else gave you the same answer. Not sure what other girl you're talking too. Looks like everyone who responded feels very comfortable with a little blood after a cervical check.

    :/ why do people insist on posting about cervical checks?! We've gone through this a lot....and if it's a medial condition we're not medical doctors so if the doctor says it's normal like we've all been told than it is. Trust me I'm a first time mom and there were so many things I did not know and still don't know but asking your doctor is always the best.....sorry OP but if you're freaking out its best to consult with an expert.
