I showered and forgot to put pads in my bra for leaking.. just went to the mirror and the whole front of my shirt is like, soaked. Sigh.
EBF is definitely annoying/hard, but I'm glad it gets better. I've noticed it's even gotten better after 3 weeks.
1.) My nipples are tougher so they don't hurt as much
2.) LO is a more efficient nurses so it doesn't take as long
3.) Fewer feedings in 24 hour period
I'm still struggling, but it is much better. Hoping to make it to the 3 month promise land - technically almost halfway there. That makes me feel a little better.

She is gaining weight well so it was a risk reward assessment on whether or not to do it. I opted not to based on the advise of both professionals. I really respect my LOs ped because he is extremely non-invasive and conservative. He sat me down and really weighed the pros and cons and made sure I knew I was making the call.
Every once in awhile the tongue tie is frustrating because she can't hold a binky in her mouth or struggles with staying on during longer nursing sessions due to muscle fatigue, but hers is not terribly severe. (As a matter of fact she and I actually have almost identical tongue ties.)

They are supposed to be genetic :-) so if we decide to have another lo, I will have it in my birth plan to have lo checked for tongue tie immediately. :-)
