  Yes they could not find a reason for it my mfm told me that it could have been from straining in the bathroom.

  My doctor also told me that the bleeding is very common.... I'm sure you will be ok but definitely mention it at your appt.

  The same thing happened to me last week and today - I'm 20 weeks. Last week I did an ultrasound and everything looked normal - cervix, baby, placenta. My doctor couldn't give me an explanation which I gladly accept over something being seriously wrong. She just told me to take it easy.

  You did the right thing by contacting your doctor, sorry they weren't able to explain what happened. As a side note, at least it wasn't something that worried them. Keep us posted, sending good thoughts your way.

  Glad everything looks good... The only time I saw blood in my first pregnancy was at 19 weeks, just after I lost my mucous plug. I was 2-3cm dilated, and ended up losing our daughter 8 days later. Definitely glad you got checked out and everything looks fine!

  I had some light bleeding/spotting a week ago and went to the doctor. They checked and everything looked fine, she also said they had no explanation and that light bleeding is not uncommon.

  Glad that your dr said everything was ok. This has not happened to me but I imagine it to be very scary! T&P
