This check-in is to help remind us that there are things in life that we can be thankful for, proud of, happy about, and things we can look forward to. It?s to remind us that even though we deal with the pain of IF everyday, there are rays of light that help guide our way, without which we may become lost. Hopefully, this will give a lift to those who read it, and a sense of encouragement/hope/optimism to those that participate in it.
This is how it works:
Every day, in a journal, write down at least 3 things that: made you happy, gave you hope, you accomplished, made you proud, etc. Then, once a week, pick out 3 that stand out and share them below. Get those good vibes rolling ![]()

Re: ~*~*~3 Things Check-In~*~*~
1) My DH... I love him and appreciate him more than words can express. He always there for me, and I try to return the favor whenever possible.
2) Distractions... I've become completely enveloped by the Twilight universe, and it has helped me so much over the last week and a half. My mind is kept busy, so I don't concentrate on IF so much...
3) Music... I love listening to music. It is such a wonderful escape and it can convey so much. Helps me get through those rough patches.

1) My husband. He is so amazing and incredible even though he ticks me off every now and again LOL
2) My Mom and Step dad who are helping me out by loaning me their car to get to work as mine is being fixed. It is amazing to know all you need to do is ask and help is waiting.
3) My sisters. I love them both and am proud that we are not only sisters but friends as well.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

1) I'm thankful for kind and empathic doctors
2) I'm thankful for good drugs of all kinds
3) I'm thankful for my husband, who is cooking me kraft mac & cheese right now.
1) Getting to spend time w/ my family, we leave Saturday and I can't wait
2) The Holidays, I LOVE Christmas
3) Being off work for an entire week!
1) I'm thankful for my family. We've had our fair share of ruff patches, but in the end they are always there for me.
2) I'm thankful for all the wonderful ladies on this board. Without you I think I would have lost my mind and J would of had to commit me to the mental ward.
3) I'm thankful for everything I have in my life.
1. DH is getting laid off sometime in the next 6-8 months but his Union was able to convince the company to pay for everyone's health insurance for 6 months past the lay off date. We have some IF insurance through his job and we are hoping to use it all up before we arent covered anymore.
2. Having my mom around to spend the holidays with. I dont take for granted that she is with me.
3. I am thankful for my sanity. I know sometimes I think IF is making me crazy...but seriously, there are SO many people battling with different forms of mental illness...I am just thankful that I am in my right mind...well, most of the time.
