OB insensitive? Or hormones?

I am a FTM and have been going to Lexington Women's Care near the harbison area. The lady at the front desk has called out multiple people in the waiting room about insurance issues. By called out I mean open the glass window and yelled to that person her "personal question". Then I just had a 16 week check up and the nurse had a hard time finding LO heartbeat I got really upset and started crying and she told me I shouldn't be crying. I'm sorry I am just confused and think these people should be more sensitive or something Idk. Needed to vent maybe

    That nurse was rude. Did you say something to your OB about it? That would frighten any pregnant woman and she should have been more discreet in her challenge to find the HB, IMO

    In my experience a lot of their front desk people are terrible. And they seem to overbook. You were justified in your fear, so she should have been considerate. I'd def mention it to your doc, and I've had great experience at the w cola location at the hospital. The midwife side is so much nicer, faster, and considerate IMO. I switched and am do glad.

    That is just horrible, so far I've been going to Sandhill Womens over on the Northeast side of Columbia, and am seeing Dr. Austin. He also has a practice at the main Lexmed hospital but so far I love the staff and the Dr. so far! They have been super friendly and my appointment yesterday I found the gender of our LO (Little Boy) and he printed off about 10 pictures for me. Hope you can remedy the situation soon!
