Can't believe it - Intro

Hello and Happy Friday!

I cannot believe I belong here right now and I am still in absolute shock. I had a D&C back in June for a missed miscarriage that was discovered at my first ultrasound. It took me 7 weeks to get AF again and once she came, we were in the clear for trying again. I calculated my fertile days based on my normal 33 day cycles assuming it would go back to normal and took a test last weekend, which was a BFN. I accepted that it didn't happen and was looking into trying out OPK's my next cycle. 44 days went by and still had no period so my husband told me to test again, which I was reluctant to do since I already had a BFN the week before. I bought tests and tested yesterday and much to my surprise it was a clear positive. I hid it from DH all day since we were both at work. He even asked about it through text and I just told him that I didn't test. When he got home and was changing his clothes, I walked in with the stick and told him that I lied earlier that day and held up the pee stick. He was confused at first, but then smiled and said "oh my God, we did it?"

I'm cautiously excited to join this board and I hope I get to stay here. It is really inspiring to see so many people doing so well after their losses and I hope I become a success story as well! Next up: blood test confirmation on 9/27 and 1st ultrasound on 10/10.
