Nausea 24/7

Any cures or tips for dealing with nausea? I have no vomiting, but am nauseous all day. I sit at a computer all day too which does not help. Help please!!!

Hmm.. ginger ale (the kind with real ginger) and saltines? But please, I am not expert. I am a newbie myself... I haven't yet dealt with the nausea pregnancy causes. But I have had it for other reasons previously.

  • Sour candy, and mints. Trust me!
  • For my first son I drank orange pop (a hint from a family member). I would drink one at work cause the symptoms were more manageable at home. I drank diet though.
  • B6 has helped with the nausea for me. Also, even though it sucks to eat you need to keep food in your stomach. It's way worse if there's nothing in there. Saltines and ginger ale are good in between meal snacks for me. I've also had success with yogurt.
  • Thanks for all the tips, ladies!

This is true! I've been dealing with this all week and this morning I was in a hurry to get dinner in the crock pot before work and forgot to eat!! Needless to say dry heaving for fifteen minutes over a public toilet is waaaayyy worse than actually throwing up. Eat eat eat. I gagged down a croissant roll and already I feel less prone to barfing.

  • Also, ginger tea or ginger ale and some saltine crackers next to the bed. Eat it first thing in the morning and it will help out some. I haven't found a cure, although I'm still searching!!

  • I purchased Sea Bands the other day and they actually work!  They aren't like a right away kind of fix, they do take some time to kick in.  It was always the worst for me in the morning, feeling as though I would puke at any second.  I wore the Sea Bands to bed, and this morning...no morning sickness for once!  Give them a try, I'd say they're worth it.
