Sleep position

I've ALWAYS been a side sleeper, mostly on my left side. Ever since I got my BFP I wake up in the middle of the night on my tummy? If I can't go to sleep I find it really comfortable to lay on my stomach too. Anyone else? Or am I just weird?

Re: Sleep position

  • I am a stomach/side sleeper and lately waking up on my back.

  • I'm a back sleeper and I slept on my back all the way until I gave birth (ok by my doc) even though you're "supposed" to sleep on your side in the later stage of the pregnancy. I had PSD which made sleeping on my sides painful. We have a sleep number bed that let us raise the legs/head areas so it was almost like sleeping in a recliner...lol.

  • Stomach sleeper too. It gets harder for me to sleep once my tummy gets huge. Not looking forward to that!!
  • I normally sleep on either side, when I sleep on my back my back hurts... I am not a tummy sleeper so its nbd.
I do have a snuggle pregnanch pillow I need to bring that bad boy out!!

  • I'm a lefty, too :( I can't stay on my back and have an old sports/military injury to my right shoulder that absolutely preventse sleeping on my right side. I've wedged myself in the past to prevent myself from rolling on my left side. With the twins, I propped myself up or I couldn't sleep at all.
