Halloween Costumes

Sooo I am super excited about taking DD trick or treating for the first time this year and I want to dress up too!

I thought I'd get some costume ideas by doing a google image search...umm... it came up with some ok, some lame and a lot of creepy (like zombie baby breaking out of the belly) photos. Not quite what I had in mind. Have any of you ladies had any luck with finding cute pregnancy costumes?

Aw man! I would LOVE to know this too! My hubby and i looove Halloween and always go to a big costume party our friends throw. I've looked at maternity halloween costumes on a few sites and they are so lame! A pregnant nun, a boring witch...one of my friends suggested that I wear a cow costume she saw with udders where your belly is. I was like, 'um I'm pretty sure the last thing I'll want to do is dress up like a cow when I'm nearly 7 months pregnant' [-X

There is ONE cool idea I came across below-her belly is the pearl, how sweet is that??

I love halloween!!!! I am already decorating my house and everything!
I haven't decided on a costume just yet. But we are taking my sons to a Halloween town/spooky train ride on Halloween evening so I will prob dress as some sort of Disney character or something? I can't decide!?

A couple friends of mine were bacon and eggs. He had strips of "bacon" on his shirt and she wore a white outfit
with a yellow "yolk" on her belly. Another couple went as a pool ball and a pool player. She wore black and made her belly look like a pool ball and her husband wore a regular outfit and carried a pool cue.

I have a few ideas, like I was going to be the zombie that ate Lori on Walking Dead (he looks pregnant) or a pregnant Hooters girl

Lol, DD was a fairy her first year, some ridiculous gymboree costume my mom didn't buy the correct size in; DD2 was an adorable pumpkin (older sis was pumpkin fairy); DS was this tiger thing from carter's. Costco has some cute stuff this year!

I saw a couple go as tom hanks and the wilson the volley ball from castaway. My DD is going to be Rainbow Brite and my husband and I are going as murky and lurky the bas guys. Good luck finding something you like

I want to go as a disco ball. Mostly because I have always wanted to wear a tacky silver sequinned dress for NYE, and if I wear it this year I'd just look like one anyway.
Just had the random thought that we could goes as planets, especially Mars and Venus. BF is rocking a bit of a beer belly right now so we'd match

I was thinking about doing this. Sadly I'll only be handing out candy and whatnot this year, but I might wear it to my college classes that day. If I'm feeling brave.

Now all I want to do is decorate my house this weekend. Thank you ladies.

After reading this thread I decided to buy a maternity tshirt with a pumpkin face on the belly for my costume. Since MIL will insist LO has to go out (and I will agree since I steal all his candy, ha sucks for him being 2yrs old!). No one will see it under my coat, because it's Michigan and always effing freezing on Halloween but I'll know it's there.

That is my contribution - go to cafepress and get a tshirt like me.
