I am going to ask my MFM center about this but my first appointment is not for another month. Frankly my dr's opinion is something I'm taking lightly these days. You ladies have taught me more than my OB has!
I went to the dentist today and he told me I need two fillings replaced. He said he's done this work in pregnant women before and it's no big deal. He said he could use special local anesthesia that does not raise the heart rate.
The work is not detrimental and in my opinion could definitely wait until my twins are born. The fillings do not bother me at all.
Should I just put this off? Or am I a FTM who is worrying too much?
Re: MoM's opinions on dental work while pregnant.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
