Teen Mom 3

Anyone else watch this trainwreck?
Is it me or does it look like Alex's daughter is forward facing in the car? You can see a mirror or some type of toy attached to the back of the drivers seat. Maybe I'm seeing things but I thought she was smarter than that!

Re: Teen Mom 3

  • I missed it but DH said she was forward facing.

  • She was definitely FF. I noticed it last week and almost had a heart attack.

  • Yeah, she was FFing for sure and I there was another baby too.  Maybe the girl's name is Katie?  The one with the baby daddy who works in the coal mines.

All the babies are under a year old.
  • I've only seen bits and pieces of the series here and there, but does MTV ever intervene?  I mean, I know it's supposed to be 'reality', but I would *hope* that they would maybe have some sort of education for the parents when it comes to the babies safety?
  • I'm pretty sure she was FF as well. I think most of the babies are 6-9 months old!

  • I haven't been a die hard watcher but I am noticing a theme of the girls and the girl's parents coming down so hard on the boys that the boys can't even stand to be over visiting or even deal with the girl to pick up the baby. They treat them like crap and are constantly saying they're bad fathers. I understand some of them are just as bad as the girls but a lot of them really are trying their best for a 17 year old. They have no support. This show just ends up infuriating me lol.

  • It makes you wonder if people watching it perceive it as being safe and do the same with their child. MTV is in a position in which they could educate young parents on car seat safety but instead display footage of car seats being utilized in the wrong way. I agree with aliebno and wonder if they ever intervene?
  • They will never intervene. They film domestic violence occurring in front of the babies...no one intervenes.

    You have a good point!
  • I saw that. It was def FF.
  • I did see Alex's baby drinking out of a sippy though. It's probably juice but a sippy at like 6 months old is still good right?
  • I'm not sure why I still watch it. It seems like every week I end up crying! Just feel so bad for everyone involved. I had my first when I was 25 and she was planned and it was still hard. I can't imagine being 16 and having all of that responsibility!
  • Have you ever noticed too how the straps aren't right? They'll be forward facing and the buckle and straps aren't in the right place and are loose!

  • You're right the straps are always loose! I guess none of them read the manual? You would think somebody they know would say something.
