Has anyone felt like their period could start but still preg?

This is my husband and I's first month of trying and my first month off the pill. I got a BFN on day 23 with a test that said it could be accurate up to 6 days before your missed period. The last several days I have been feeling like my period could start any minute but lots or clear watery discharge... Is it possible that I could be pregnant and that I tested way too soon? Has anyone had period symptoms and then gotten a positive result later?

    It's also possible that you did test too early and your period is not yet due. Since you just came off birth control your body is regulating on it's own hormones for the first time in awhile. You may not naturally have a 28 day cycle. I'm going through something similar right now. I've been off bcp for 45 days and am currently on day 42 of my cycle with no AF yet. So far the 2 tests I've taken were negative. I'm going to continue to test once a week until AF arrives. But if I get to day 60 I'll so see my Dr. To see what's up.

    Period like cramping is a sign of early pregnancy AND oncoming AF. There's no way to know which until you get a positive or start bleeding. Wait until after your expected period to test again.

    You could be fertile. Clear watery cm is fertile cm. Get on it.

    Getting off the pill can make your body do crazy things. And as previously mentioned, you may not have a regular 28 day cycle. Keep testing once a week until you get AF, if you get to cd60 w/o AF make an appt w/ur dr! Good luck!

    i was only off my bcp for one month. i had been having mild pre-period cramps like normal.  but after my period didn't  come, i took a test and it was positive.
