12 week genetic screening?

So next Wednesday is my 12 week appointment where they are doing my genetic scans. Can anyone tell me what to expect? DId you get your results immediately? We are not doing anything invasive, I assume just ultrasound and bloodwork?

The blood work will take up to a week to get back. I didn't get a genetic screening ultrasound so I can't help you on that. I got my blood work done on a Wednesday and by that'd today I got my negative results. They just tell you up to a week. Good luck

It's just a blood test. Just had mine done today. I'll get results in 2 weeks.

The blood test results take a couple weeks to come back. For the u/s part you will find out that day if they see anything that is concerning to them (i.e., lots of fluid behind the neck)

Ok, so even thought they took 7 viles of blood at my 7 week appointment, they will take more blood and I will have to wait?

Yes that is correct. The bloods needs to be taken between 10 and 13 weeks.
