Ah! I didn't see the lobster/chef combo before I voted! I want to change!!
Also - if you didn't want to do lobster/chef b/c of dominance (I didn't think of it that way - maybe my brain will work like that once the girls are here?) you could always dress them both as lobster and put green blankets (lettuce) in their carriers and they could go as "twin lobsters" - one of my favorite dinners...yum!
Me: 30, DH: 40
TTC since January 2012HSG & Bloodwork: Normal, SA: NormalDx: Unexplained Infertility 50mg Clomid + TI = BFN (three cycles)
Maybe I'm weird, but I feel like batman/robin, cop/prisoner, and chef/lobster all have one dominant "better" character and one "lesser" character...better suited to an older/younger set...so I voted batman/superman.
Yes I sound crazy.
Well, I had the same crazy thought behind my answer, too.
Married 8/2008.
IVF with PGD March 2013.
3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!
PPROM at 31w, delivery at 32 weeks of two beautiful girls
Ha! @singformysavior- I had the same exact thought too but thought maybe I was being too "sensitive". I've been leading towards batman and superman so I better just go with that since that seems to be the consensus.
And fwiw, apparently either I don't know how to do a poll or its not working (or nobody voted) bc I can't see any results .
Thanks to everyone for weighing in though!
ETA: I figured out how to see the results....and chef/lobster is the front runner. Hmmm...decisions, decisions!! Thanks again ladies!
At Metro-con down in Florida we saw the cutest thing ever. A little boy, don't know how old but he was just starting to run was dressed up as batman and his dad had gone as the joker. You could easily do one little boy as batman and another as superman and you and dad dress up as villains from the series to match the boys.
eh my boys went as Batman and Robin last year- and I saw no issues with it. My Robin actually got a lot more attention since there were more Batmans and no Robins.
The year before that they went as a Cattle Rustler and the Sheriff.
This year they are going as the Skipper and Gilligan.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I wouldn't want to raise one above the other.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
