This is on the agenda for today because MH declared he can't take all the clothes everywhere. He even agreed to throw out anything he hasn't worn in 6 months.

I'm normally not a hoarder but I think I hoard clothes and shoes. I feel like I may one day wear it again or I'm going to randomly run out of bras. I think I have 12 bras taking up space yet I rotate the same 3... WTH? I just threw away all my work clothes since its been 2 years since I've worn them :( it feels weird. (I still saved all my work pants don't know why. Old habits die hard I guess)

How often do you purge?

    Like once a year but only because i run out of hangers. Except I just throw all the clothes in bags to sell at my moms next garage sale that never ends up happening. So I end up hoarding boxes and bags of old clothes. I need to just donate them.

    I do it a couple times per year but I have a hard time getting rid of nicer stuff (ie a few banana republic sweaters that I haven't worn in years). I just did a purge but kept some nicer work clothes that still fit since I may go back to work part time in a few years

    I purge twice a year.  I am one of those people who hates clutter and hanging onto stuff just in case.  My H loves to save stuff and I think he is a secret hoarder.   He purges every two years.

    This is me.  Except I never even planned to sell them.  I'm just incapable of actually taking the bags to the donation place.   (I dropped off two bags last week - yay!)

    I really need to throw out bras as well!  I have a drawer full of them, but I just wear the same two most of the time.  I should throw them all out and get some new ones.  I've changed bra sizes so many times in the last two years, that I keep thinking I'll use the old ones.

    For closet cleaning, I do it whenever I start to get annoyed.  In July, I hung all my work clothes facing one way and when I put them back, I face the hanger the other way.  So I plan to look at what I haven't worn in six months and donate.
