Hello ladies! I just had my little girl last week at 35w6d. My question for you is when (age or size) did you start wearing your baby? Even with the infant insert I think she is too tiny for the ergo, but I have a moby wrap I am eager to try out!
I have 34weekers and wearing them is a necessity with a 3yo running around.
I had a moby w my oldest and wasn't a fan so this time I got a k'tan and I like it so much better. Easier to put on and stays snug. I've worn the smaller twin in that since he was prob 6lbs. MH usually wears the bigger twin in the ergo w a rolled up receiving blanket. I think we started that when he was a bit older/heavier - maybe 7.5 lbs?
I started wearing her within a couple of weeks of coming home, so that would have been around 37 weeks GA. I used the infant insert for the Ergo. She seemed so tiny in there, but it worked great.
I used the Boba 3g when he was still pretty small. I want to say around 5 lbs? he loved it. There is a way to wear it for infants. (if it wasn't 5 lbs it was as low as the carrier is safe, I don't remember and don't have it in front of me. I know I waited for that weight though)
I used the Moby as soon as they came home from the hospital at 36/37 weeks gestation. They were right around 5lbs.... a little under. I used our Ergo when they were closer to 10-11lbs., but they they seemed too heavy for the Moby.
I started wearing DD as soon as we came home from the nicu. She was 36 weeks. I have a Boba wrap; similar to the Moby but stretchy. She loves it. It's a sure fire way to calm her down and the only way I get things done around the house as she wants to be held constantly.
