Baby after Mirena

How long did it take you to get prego after getting Mirena out? My doctor told me it would be 7 days to be fertile and a month to start my period but my period started later that day. Could that mean I might be able to calculate a fertile day?

    I had my Mirena removed, started a period pretty much right away, didn't TTC that cycle so that my body had time to recover and I could see what my cycles would be like. We started TTC the next cycle, and got our BFP that cycle as well.

    I got pregnant that first cycle but miscarried at 6 weeks. Then got pregnant again the cycle after that with my now 5 month old. Fertility returns right away after removal.

    My doctor told me the same thing as you, fertile within a week, and should get a fairly normal cycle the next month. Well, I got mine out second or third week in June, had a ton of spotting for about a week right after, and then no period until July 27th. That period was only 2 days long and was SUPER light. I have not bled even the tiniest bit since then, though I am pretty sure I am ovulating, as I got +opk on the 7th of this month. I started temping this weekend, and am starting using opk's as well (the one on the 7th was the only OPK I have ever taken and it just happened to be positive.)

    Just wanted to give you an idea of what could happen. I am going on my 7th week without a period, and not KU.

    Thanks you but like I said my period started right after and it was a doozy for sure. Started out slow but then the flood gates opened :P

    All the friends I have who used it got pregnant right away. I mean like within weeks.

    I had mine out last month but we are TTA until thanksgiving.

    It took me eight months to get pregnant after having mine removed.

    A woman at my ob and her husband have six kids already, so she decided to use the mirena. While still using it she still got pregnant, not sure how long it took, but the couple is now expecting twins within the month.
