Thank you @TeeJ526! Wish I could take the credit, but when we adopted him from his previous owner, he had already been trained. Still amazes me everytime!
Carmen is a mix of a lot of things. My husband thinks she has catahoula in her. I think she's a shepherd, basset mix. She has a shepherd bark (loud and scary), short legs and a very long torso.
Charlie is a beagle/boston terrier mix. He's super smart and wild. Easy to train but hard to mentally stimulate. Hah. Not surprisingly, he also has separation anxiety.
First picture of Carmen in her allergy socks. Hehe.
He is soo adorable with his allergy socks lol. I don't think my pup would go for that but I might have to give it a try. It sucks since she is still young at 8 months so I don't want to go the way of the drugs yet. I'm taking one last ditch effort at a hypo food and if this doesn't work she might have to go for the skin biopsy. As for the moment I have her on a couple different pills just to make sure she doesn't get an infection on her raw spots and another to help calm down the itching until I get this figured out. I'm also thinking that if this clears up in the winter then it is definitely seasonal allergies. Only time will tell...
My fur babies welcomed DH home last night!
I love all the fur baby pictures!
Edit: I wanted to reply to everyone about their pictures ... That would take to long... They are all too cute.
Speaking of things that make me cry.... all the videos online of dogs welcoming home soldiers.
I do this too. Then I end up bawling like a baby. I dogs!
@jefa621 Dakota is completely better! Turns out she had hookworms, took us like $2000 to figure that out, but whatever.. She got her meds and was totally fine the next day lol. So glad our fat girl is all better!! She does have allergies though. Poor girls belly was all pink and she keeps sneezing lol
@wareagle1220 We had avoided the vets for a few months and tried switching her food around a few times. We always made sure to choose the higher end food but nothing seems to work. This last break out was so bad that her poor ears and neck were bleeding and she chewed her fur off of her legs and the list goes on... So sad to see her in this state.

Nick, the big white blockheaded Lab/Bullie mix, is our current foster (we only have one foster right now! It's like being on vacation or something!)
Noah is the black/grey Australian Shep mix, he's 5...and seriously insane. I always joke about giving him away but someone would take him to the pound within an hour. He has broken 7 windows, like jumped through the glass broken. He knocked a bedroom door off its frame and put a hole through the wall across from it when I left him in the bedroom while I ran to walmart.
However, he has gotten lots better with age. And I love him.
Roxie is the Golden. She's old! Haha. She is 10 (half my age!!!) and I love her. She was the first dog that was ever "mine" and the only dog from a breeder I will ever own...I am so involved in rescue now that I can't stomach the idea of buying from a breeder when I see so many animals come through the doors every day.
I've got two Maltese. They just spent the summer with us in Europe and now they're back home and we're at work during the days I think they're lonely. Or maybe it's me that's missing them...
This is our Stewie he's a Jug( which is a Jackrussle mixed with a pug) Excuse the heap of clothes in the background we got him when we just moved into our apartment in Toronto.
He likes to sit on the back of couches he will be 3 this November! he was small enough he could come on the buses.
We just got our fur babies on Monday. They were adult cats who had been left at a vet clinic for boarding and the owner never returned or paid the bill. The clinic was able to tell us that they were both five years old, both fixed, and both declawed, as well as up to date on all exams and vaccinations. They were completely free. We renamed them, as we hated their original names, and we were assured that they did not answer to those names, anyway.
Our orange/cream tabby is a male we named Crookshanks. He has been very timid, and for the most part, has hid in the bathroom where his litter box is. He did come out and play with me a little tonight, but he runs if we approach him.
Our dark tabby is a female we named Minerva. When we let her out of the carrier, she ran a lap around our main level, ran up the stairs, looked around, and started looking for someone to cuddle her. She is becoming more "stand off-ish" as Crookshanks becomes more friendly. I suspect there's some jealousy at play there!
Here's Luigi! Crazy guy, he is 1 and 1/2. We took him hiking, he has never been so dirty but he loved every minute of it!! The second one is from his first winter, he loves snow!
