reaction to mastitis antibiotics?

DS had some pretty severe diarrhea after my taking of antibiotics for mastitis (stopped 2 weeks ago though). Now he's exhibiting blood in his stool - and lots and lots of poop. The doctors are running some tests. I'm posting here on the off chance anyone else went through something similar??

    Sounds like my kid's poop! Doc said it might be a dairy and soy intolerance, but I'm asking if it could be from antibiotics at our follow up on Friday. He was on antibiotics in the NICU and I was on some a month or two ago. I'll let you know what I find out.

    I've had mastitis and was on 3 different antibiotics for 7 weeks.  (It SUCKED!!)   LO had horrible diarrhea even with probiotics.  His diarrhea has slowly improved but we never had blood in his stool.  I'm sorry I'm not much more help but I do understand your concern and I hope everything is ok with your LO.  I absolutely hated that I was on meds for so long and my LO had to suffer with diarrhea.  :-(
