    looks like i'm going against the grain, but i like it! nowadays, kids names are so unique, i think you're ok with just about anything. in my son's daycare class of six, there is a bohden (girl) and a briggs (boy) - seems like anything goes! however, i do like surnames as first names, as is evidenced by my son's name - thompson
