Where do you store important documents?

Safety deposit box at bank? Safe at home? Shoebox? Lol. We don't have a home office anymore, not sure where to store it. SS cards, passports etc.

Safety deposit box at the bank. Our credit union charges $30 annually. Well worth it.

I don't like the ones at the bank because you are confined to their hours. I have my passports, etc in there and I wouldn't want to have an emergency and I wasn't able to leave the country because my passport is at the bank and it's sunday and the bank is closed, etc.
