Fussiness issues

My 6 week old daughter has been having trouble during feedings. We are bottle feeding and using Similac Alimentum as her pedi thinks she has acid reflux. I'm not convinced that she does... She has lots of gas and cries through her bottle and often won't eat very well. She acts like she's in pain and wakes up crying/screaming. Thinking maybe we should try a soy based formula?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    We are going through the exact same thing with our six week old. We've tried a ton different formulas and haven't found anything that works yet :(

    Thinking of trying a soy formula even though the pedi doesn't think it will make a difference... Turns out I was on a soy formula as a baby and it fixes my feeding issues, so why not try it with my twins??

    Google GERD. My son was the same, though he's exclusive breastfeeding, and is now on Prevacid which is an antacid. Hold them upright for feeding and at least 20 minutes after. Burp realllly well as gas makes it worse.
