Varicose veins?

Hi Ladies!  Anyone else starting to experience varicose veins?  I just noticed my first bulging, blue vein on the inside of my knee yesterday...  I thought I would make it through without these horrid things (but should have known better - my grandma had horrible leg veins!).  Anybody doing anything to combat this?  What is working for you?

    I have had a varicose vein just below my left knee, on the inside, for about 10 years. It is definitely worse now -- painful and swollen. It's causing my left ankle and foot to swell too. It doesn't make it very easy to put on my tap shoes at night! Boo. :(

    I have quite a few. They've gotten worse with each pregnancy. Sometimes they're pretty painful and other times they don't bother me.

    I've had them for years due to genetics on the outside of my knee. They have been noticeable, but not really bad. Definitely have got worse and now spiders are on the inside of my thighs. They don't hurt I just think they are unsightly. Actually talk to dermatologist about them before pregnancy and outside of surgery not much to do.

    Mine started at 6 weeks, and, I admit, I freaked, because it was the first clear sign my body was changing in ways I hadn't expected.  They aren't too bad so far.
