  We used it to find our nanny and found it to be worth the cost.  My only advice would be that if you place an ad be very specific about what you want.  Our first job posting I was not super specific and I got over 60 responses I had to sort through.  We found a nanny but she ended up leaving us so our second job posting I was very specific and this time only got about 20 and they met most or all of our qualifications and we found a wonderful nanny.

  I found my nanny on care.com as well and we love her.  I have also used it when we travel to find a sitter for an evening.  Found my cleaning lady there too.  LOL I love care.com.

  We just joined to find a housekeeper. We have friends who used it to find a full time nanny. They found a bad one and a fantastic one. Another friend has also had great luck with it to find sitters.

  Yes! We found our nanny there and she is amazing. The responses were overwhelming as soon as I signed up so I only needed to be on there for a month which saved me from having to dish out the $35 a month for a membership.
