Advice needed: gear for trip

We will be takin a week long trip to North Carolina when little man is 5 months, I'm trying to think ahead about what to take. I am thinking about something for him to sit in while eating but wasn't sure if buying a portable high chair type seat would be a good purchase for this??? Any ideas are appreciated,

I need something he can sit in even if he can't sit up on his own.

Bumbo seat? There is a tray attachment available for it. This would work too: https://theportablehighchair.com/
