Hi ladies, I'm Mel...I'm 44 and 5w7d!! My LMP was 8/1 so I'm due 5/8. I have 3 DS from my 1st marriage (15, 12, 10) and my DH has none (this is his first time at both the marriage and kid rodeo!). He's a few years younger than I am. We had 2 MC last year (10.5 wks, and 6.5 wks) and have been TTC since we got married about 2 years ago. I'd given myself until my 44th bday last month and then we were closing up shop...we'd already met with the adoption counselor and gotten the application - turns out I got PG prob the day we met her

I had 2 MC btwn my first 2 DS and am really hoping that the 3rd time will be the charm this time as well! We've told more people than before, I think it's my way of trying really hard NOT to be afraid of another loss. My kids don't know yet - I want to wait for a heartbeat before telling them. I feel pretty good, but am nauseous - which is a new symptom for me, I never really had any before. Tired, hungry, SUPER sore boobs - my DH is being very sweet in dealing with my crazy hormones, God bless him!! So that's my story, I'm looking forward to getting to know you ladies and hoping and praying for healthy babies for all!! Mel

Congrats and welcome! Your nausea and other symptoms, though unpleasant to say the least, are a good sign!! I am very sorry for your losses. I hope this will be your sticky bean!
