What do you do for night time changes? Do you go to the nursery and use your change station every time, or do you keep a stash in your room for night time? For some reason, this is stressing me out.
I have a stack of diapers and pack of wipes on my dresser and change her on my bed. I throw down a big cloth diaper under her as a changing pad if I think it may be messy. I want to avoid walking back and forth to her room because I have to pass DS's room and I don't want to wake him.
I set up a changing station in my bedroom, I have my glider in here as well. Baby goes from bassinet to changing to glider for nursing and back to bassinet! Easy!
Originally I set his changing table up in his nursery but last minute, I converted the top of the dresser in our room so it was a changing station as well and it has been a LIFESAVER! My husband helps out a lot more too with night changed and I think it's because I have made it so convenient. When we move him to sleep in his nursery in 3-6 months then I will also move his changing station back.
I'm planning on taking LO to his room to change him.
This is what we do and it works well for us. Wesley is a nighttime pooper and I don't think we could get good enough light in our bedroom (without waking up the person that gets to keep sleeping) to clean him up all the way.
I have a basket with a changing pad, wipes, and diapers in our room. I usually feed, then DH supplements with a bottle while I pump a bit, then one of us changes her and prays she stays sleepy! lol It's been 4 nights since we came home and it's worked well 2/4 times...lol we'll get there eventually I suppose!
The first few nights we changed him in our room but now we do it in the nursery. We don't usually have to change him when we're not also feeding him and we do bottles overnight so we have to go downstairs anyway.

This is what we are doing as well, only with a PNP instead of bassinet
I have a little station with diapers, wipes and a disposable changing pad. I also have a small light (hand held) to keep things dim so he stays asleep at night.
The pack n play she sleeps in has a changing station on one end. We use that in the middle of the night.
Ditto. It was so convenient when DS was a newborn and I know it'll still be good for when DD is here. Newborns pee and poop all the time so you have to change them every time they wake up usually.
Our changing table is in our room. The nursery is upstairs and I didn't want to be walking up there multiple times a night. If I couldn't fit the changing table in my room I would put a basket with all my diaper changing stuff in it, in my room so I could change him at night. It is much easier to have less travel in the middle of the night
No baby here yet, but we plan to have LO room-in with us, sleeping in PnP. I plan to keep a stash of diapers/wipes in the room and will change LO on the bed or in the PnP with a blanket or something underneath in case of mess.
We had room on our long Ikea dresser for a changing pad this time, and I emptied out one of my drawers to keep supplies. Other two kids though, we changed them on the bed with a cloth diaper underneath, and stacked diapers on a dresser.
I just keep some diapers and wipes on the night stand and change him on the bed. I put a blanket down first of course. It's easier for me since I'm still in pain from delivery so the less I have to get up and out of bed the better.
I started out by going back to her room, but it got old fast....the pack and play has a changing station that we use and we keep some extra supplies in our room...it is just easier
All of her stuff (dresser, crib, and changing table) is in our room as of right now until we get the other room cleaned out... so she will be getting diaper changes in our room.
Our mobile station had extra onesies, blankets, diapers, cream and wipes. If we had her in the room we took care of it. It felt unnecessary to call them to change a diaper. They would take note and ask if we changed a dirty or wet.
We have a rnp in our room he sleeps in and his room is right down the hall so I change him in there. DH started the police academy 2 days after he was born so he needs his sleep
I take her to her nursery (the room next to ours) where her changing table is. I will usually go there and nurse for a bit in there so I don't wake DH up since I'm on mat leave and he has to get up and go to work. I'm EBF, so I have to get up anyway, no sense in waking him as well.
This is my plan. I have 12 weeks maternity leave and DH is only planning in being home the first week. Then he goes back to work, and he has to be there at 6am every morning, so I'll be doing night time changings/feedings so he can get enough sleep to function at work.
We have a pack n' play in our bedroom and it has a changing table on it. I plan on just using that until we move her into her nursery. I did the same thing with DS because it was so much easier than going room to room while I was recovering.
We have her in the RNP at night. We originally changed her in our room but for the person who was trying to sleep it was a pain. So we moved the diaper changing station to our dining room table which is down the hall. It's not a pain.
